Boys Cross Country Gains State with 1st place finish at section meet
Lukas Gemar finished first and Glen Ellingson came in second as the Spuds won the Section Meet Friday in Fergus Falls. Moorhead will now compete at the MN State Meet Saturday, November 6 at St. Olaf College in Northfield starting at 1:00PM.
Girls Cross Country finishes 3rd at section meet
Spud Sophomore Taylor Janssen finished third and advances to the State Meet on Saturday, November 6 at St. Olaf College in Northfield starting at 2:00PM. The Moorhead Girls finished 3rd as a team.
Spuds Host Shocky Strand Invite Cross Country Meet
The Moorhead Spuds hosted the Shocky Strand Invite Monday morning at Johnson Park. It was less than one week after Shocky passed away at the age of 87. The Boys and Girls teams continued their strong tradition by winning both team events. Lukas Gemar won the boys race with a 16:28.89 finish and Taylor Janssen finished 2nd in the girls race with a 16:06.7 time.
